That Reflection Texture

In case you were curious, these are the images used for the reflective textures in PSO2's character creator.

I should have known one of you would be the one to find this when I saw this over on PSOW. Good job though.
Why would they use such random pictures for the reflection? Is it some kind of easter egg? (I'm aware the answer isn't really known.)

For reflections, I think the entire point is just to find something that has a noticeable "sky", "horizon", and "ground" on it so it looks fairly generic. I kinda suspect they just went out on their balcony and took photos or something.
